Clean Air ScandMist™ Oil Mist Collectors

Clean Air ScandMist™oil mist collectors are designed by Clean Air America, Inc. to remove oil mist and smoke from the machining floor environment and efficiently separate oil fumes, oil mist, oily dust, and emulsion mist and return clean air to the plant. These systems are categorized into 2 main styles, with the D range targeting the water based coolants and the R style for the oil smoke generated from neat oil applications.

Clean Air ScandMist™ Oil Mist Collector D Range

These units are specifically designed to remove oil mists produced from emulsified coolants. With air flow rates from 400 cfm (700 m³/h) to 50,000 cfm , these ScandMist products can be configured for point-of-use protection to multi-system applications.

Clean Air ScandMist™70D

For Flows up to 400 cfm  (700 m³/h): Generally for individual small-to-medium sized machine tools, ScandMist 70D units can be installed directly on top or along side of a machine tool.  

Clean Air ScandMist™ 100D

For Flows up to 600 cfm (1,000 m³/h): Generally for individual small-to-medium sized machine tools, ScandMist 100D units can be installed directly on top or along side of a machine tool.

Clean Air ScandMist™ 200D

For Flows up to 1,200 cfm (2000 m³/h): Generally for medium-sized machine tools, ScandMist 200D units can typically be connected by ducting to one or two machines dependant on size. They can be installed on the floor along side or behind the machine tool.

Clean Air ScandMist™ 400D

For Flows up to 2,400 cfm (4000 m³/h): Generally for medium-to-large sized machine tools, ScandMist 400D units can be connected by ducting to one to four machines dependant on size. They can be installed on the floor along side or behind the machine tool.

Clean Air ScandMist™ 600D

For Flows up to 3,600 cfm (6000 m³/h): Generally for medium-to-large sized machine tools, ScandMist 600D units can be connected by ducting to one to eight machines dependant on size. They can be installed on the floor along side or behind the machine tool.

Clean Air ScandMist™ Oil Smoke Collector R range

These units are specifically designed to remove oil smoke produced from neat oil (straight oil). With air flow rates from 1000 m³/h, these Clean Air ScandMist™ products can be configured for point-of-use protection to multi-system applications.

Clean Air ScandMist™ 100R

For flows up to 600 cfm (1,000 m³/h): Typically for small-to-medium sized machine tools, we usually recommend it for one machine only. Clean Air ScandMist™ 100R can be installed on the floor along side or behind the machine tool.

Clean Air ScandMist™ 200R

For flows up to 1,200 cfm (2,000 m³/h): Typically for small-to-medium sized machine tools, we recommend it for one or two machines only. Clean Air ScandMist™ 200R can be installed on the floor along side or behind the machine tool.

Clean Air ScandMist™ 300R

For flows up to 1,800 cfm (3,000 m³/h): Used in a variety of size and quantity of machine tools, we usually recommend it for one to 6 machines. Clean Air ScandMist™ 300R can be installed on the floor along side or behind the machine tool.

Custom Designs & Modular Configurations
