Clean Air Weld Booths

To take advantage of the true back draft effect, Clean Air America’s design team sized the Clean Air WELD BOOTH^™ to efficiently overcome the heat of welding and the pull of gravity. Testing during the design process revealed that vertical smoke removal brings the smoke right across the face, causing the welder to breathe in contaminated air before the smoke is filtered. A true back draft hood is the only way to safely remove the smoke from the welder’s breathing zone.

The Clean Air WELD BOOTH™ works in conjunction with a filtration system like the DFC range, or can be connected to an exhaust fan. Depending on the size of booth chosen, air volume capacity will be between 1,000 cfm for the 3’ booth up to 5,000 cfm for the 10’ size.
